Don't know why Burgundians would be afraid of this. very expressive nose. Gutsy cherry laden red. Enough acidity to go with food but plenty of body without. Better on second night after opening, more harmonious. Not a pinot with silky charms but one with real bite. Quite chunky for Pinot.
