I challenge anyone to find me a better wine at this price! It is in perfect harmony right now, so smooth, so elegant, sooooooooooooooo delicious! If I had the money I'd buy at least 5 cases of this beauty.

Sweet fruit with a medium bodied palate. Fine tannins for a wine so young. Finish was short but tasty. Kept going back to this wine just to get another whiff of the gamey meat aromas.

La Planta 2008 has a bright cherry red garnet edge. The nose is powerful, with notes of roasted coffee and toffee aroma, red fruits, especially raspberry and lactic notes. The flavour is tasty, fruity, flesh, ripe tannin, good acidity and bitter finish.

Soft round and deliciously fruity this wine is a wonderful introduction to Ribera del Duero. Black cherries, earthy notes, roasted nuts and gently smoky finish. Harmonious and supple perfect with roasted turkey, pheasant or beef casseroles.
