Dense and chewy, with a tannic spine that holds sway over the black currant, fig and loganberry notes. Hints of charcoal, graphite and espresso frame the finish

The wine demonstrated pure and beautifully perfumed fruit. Firm, huge, rich flavours, and ripe, black fruits on the palate. Terrific purity and concentration without any obvious wood. The depth and complexity that one expects of top notch Chateauneuf.
