Jean-Paul Brun

The Domaine des Terres Dorees is located in the Southern part of the Beaujolais appellation, in an area called "Region of the Golden Stones." The estate is only 40-acres. Jean-Paul Brun has attracted the attention of the press for the wonderfully fruity and delicate natural wines he makes. But he faces a strong opposition from the wine makers in Beaujolais because he is making atypical wine which means wine made in a way without cultured yeasts or high chapatlization, etc

Only a minimum amount of sulphites are used during bottling of the wines to keep them fresh.

Robert Parker: "Proprietor Brun is a believer in using only the vineyard's wild yeast rather than the synthetic yeasts used by most other producers. His beautiful wines are favorites among purists."
