This is one of the best Gamays we have ever tasted. It reminded us of the fragrant perfumed Cot (Malbec) of Marionnet ('Vinifera') non greffe also from the Loire. At 11% this is living proof that intense taste is not dependent on intense alcohol. So we can drink away without fear of hangover or gaining weight as in the case of wines of 14% or more.On the subject of hangovers, we reckon ABV is like the Richter scale: 14% is twice as bad as 13.5%. In other words, incremental. A recent article in 'Decanter' managed to discuss and defend alcohol levels without considering the effect on the consumer. Wierd.
Bénéficie d’une belle structure et d’un équilibre appréciable. La finesse végétale des parfums titille agréablement le nez. La bouche est légère, fraiche et acidulée.
