Very ripe and sweet fruit - plum, raspberry and dark cherry. After a little time in the glass there are notes of moss, mineral and violets. For all its immediate appeal there’s chalky, saline structure lurking just below the surface along with some meatiness. Every bit as good as the 2009 vintage with a little lighter.

Brun is becoming very popular. I had some of his wines in a bar in Paris. This one stood out.

Overall balance is about perfect, and the finish leaves you wanting more (In my opinion).
Tasting Notes/Products Information
Jean-Paul Brun Moulin a Vent displays cranberry and cherry with an underpining of mineral on the nose. Cranberries again and sour cherry witn a lovely clean earthy note on the palate. It finishes long with clean fruit and minerals. It should be kept for a couple of years at least ideally.
