From the less successful run of lower and zero alcohol offerings, the only one I found worth drinking is the 0.5% Torres Natureo.
It is like dry Moscato d'Asti only in technical terms it's an off-dry wine. Citrus, green apples and grapes. Very pleasant. I can smell barbeque smoke and sizzling summer days when I think of this wine.
This is a crisp white medium dry wine, with a good nose and light tingle on the taste buds. Equally pleasant to sip on its own or with cañapes, pastas, fish, or cheese.
I tasted Natureo in September, with the great man himself, at his restaurant. I was amazed at the depth of flavour and length of fruit on the palate – bearing in mind that it is only half a percent in alcohol.

This is so low in alcohol that it isn’t officially wine at all. Made from muscat, it is fully fermented after which the alcohol is removed. Fresh, fruity and grapey with hints of apple and peach, it is surprisingly tasty, if a bit short on the finish.

This wine was developed on request by the road side restaurants in Spain. The innovative technology took four years of development.
