Product Review (submitted on 31 March 2009):

This is a review for the '07:
so much fruit, you could be on an allotment in August. Head back, eyes closed, palate ripened and I could have been in Chile (don't that put you off you Chilephobes!). This is a tongue tingling, juicy, ripe fruit bomb and I admit drunk too early. There's some earthiness to the background of fruit and fine tannins, complexity too but this needs to settle down. My wife Ruth found this all a bit too much and struggled to drink a glass. have not tried the '06 but really interested to see how a year may have affected the tasting to what should have been a better vintage anyway ('06). But buy it, however NOT if you are firmly of the opinion that Italian wines should be about elegance above all.

Love the rhubarb drink.

Love the rhubarb drink. Reminds me of ratafia. Do you think this would work with honey as the sweetener?
