  1. Chardonnay ~ Jean-Marc Brocard ~ 2008 ~ Burgundy FRANCE (white)
Wonderful value. Review by Didi (Posted on 02/03/2010)
Delicious balance of fruit and mineral. Tangy tart, with a lingering, memorable, mouth feel.
  2. Bourgogne Rouge ~ Alain Michelot ~ Burgundy FRANCE ~ 2006 (red)
Solid Burgundy Review by Rick (Posted on 02/03/2010)
Excellent bottle. Opened up nicely after a half hour or so.
  3. Casa Santos Lima Palha-Canas Estremadura 2006 PORTUGAL (red)
The best wine I have ever tasted Review by Sean (Posted on 07/07/2009)
I had this wine when the 1996 was around and it blew me away! I have spent 8 years finding someone that sells it.......Eureka....Enjoy but leave me some stock please. The best wine in the world in my opinion.
  4. Prosecco Di Valdobbiadene Extra Dry Col de'Salici ITALY
Dry, dry, dry Review by Cata (Posted on 07/05/2009)
Excellent Prosecco wine. Elegant, aromatic and dry (I think the residual sugar is only 15g/l).
  5. Vincent Girardin Bourgogne Blanc Mes Vieilles Vignes 2006 FRANCE (white)
Vincent Girardin Review by Rkoot (Posted on 05/05/2009)
It's not easy to come by a decent Burgundy (white or red) these days without paying a premuim. I think Vincent Girardin is a producer that delivers good wines at an affordable price.
  6. Riserva di Costasera Amarone Classico Masi 2005 ITALY (red)
Decanted for 2 hours Review by agitt (Posted on 05/05/2009)
I have never been a bif fan of Amarone as it is kinda like a dessert wine but was pleasantly surprised with Masi 2003 which had less raisiny flavours than I expected. Definitely needs food to go with.
  7. Jim Barry The Lodge Hill Shiraz Clare Valley 2006 AUSTRALIA (red)
Yes Review by Galileo (Posted on 05/05/2009)
I've seen it cheaper on wine searcher but still it's not too expensive.
  8. Jim Barry The Lodge Hill Shiraz Clare Valley 2006 AUSTRALIA (red)
Excellent drop Review by galop (Posted on 05/05/2009)
Jim barry has always been one in my good books of ozzy wines. The price here seems quite a bargain. I still have some old stock from vintage 2004 which was excellent but once I run out I'll be back.
  9. Coteaux Du Tricastin ~ Delas ~ Rhone FRANCE ~ 2008 (red)
Good QPR Review by proto (Posted on 02/05/2009)
A very good value red from Rhone with enough complexity to satisfy even the more descerning palate. Widely available but this is the best price I've come across.
  10. Les Templiers Chardonnay Languedoc 2007 FRANCE (white)
Crowd pleaser! Review by StevenSTE (Posted on 21/04/2009)
You can't go wrong with this one. We had it last weekend in the garden (BBQ). Creamy yet crisp. Refreshingly clean with citrus flavours!
  11. Prophet's Rock Pinot Noir Central Otago 2006 NEW ZEALAND (red)
Impressive Review by Frederick (Posted on 10/03/2009)
I have never heard of this estate before but after having read some positive reviews I might take the plunge and go for six.
  12. Terres d'Azur Sauvignon Blanc Vin de Pays d'Oc 2008 FRANCE (white)
Nice little wine Review by GeorgeT (Posted on 18/02/2009)
Classic crisp-ish palate with grapefruit and some elderflower to smoothen the finish.
