Tasting Notes

Plums and cherries on the nose with hints of fermented fruit and nuts. Magnificently rich and soft on the palate with rich cherry tastes and a faint hint of mint on the aftertaste. Long finish with a touch of chocolate.

    I have never been a bif fan of Amarone as it is kinda like a dessert wine but was pleasantly surprised with Masi 2003 which had less raisiny flavours than I expected. Definitely needs food to go with. (Posted on 05/05/2009)
