Very good but pricey Review by Gin Maniac (Posted on 08/01/2010)
I tried William Chase's potato vodka in bar in Manchester and was curious if they had done a good job on the Gin too. The have indeed. This Gin is excellent - smooth, elegant yet it is crispy that distinguishes itself from all others. It is best served chilled, neat.
Tasting Notes/Products Information
True taste of junipers highlighted by the citrus and the sweetness of the apples, elderflower and hops. It has a beautiful and textured mouth feel due to the luscious organic apples and the naturally pure water taken straight from the aquifer that runs underneath the orchards.
If serve with tonic we recommend a slice of apple to bring out the flavour.
The botanicals used are Juniper, Coriander, Angelica, Liquorice, Orris, Orange and Lemon peel, Hops, Elderflower and fresh Bramley apples.
